Fluid level should be checked again after the system cycles.

Pay close attention after equipment has worked in brush, debris, demolition material, rough terrain, or tight jobsite conditions. Hoses can be snagged or crushed without an immediate loss of function. A quick inspection before the next shift can prevent a small abrasion from becoming a burst hose during operation.

Keeping the correct hydraulic fluid on hand, maintaining clean fill practices, and replacing worn hose guards or clamps also helps protect the system.
